Seneca Falls Police arrested two Waterloo residents on Tuesday following the investigation into a shoplifting incident.
20-year-old Brandin Purdy and 18-year-old Jamaera Broines are accused of not scanning all the items in their possession at a Seneca Falls business and passing all points of sale without rendering payment. Both were charged with petit larceny and coercion.
Purdy and Broines were released on appearance tickets for Seneca Falls Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
