A Walworth woman was arrested Tuesday by the Wayne County Sheriff’s office after a follow-up investigation into a previous shoplifting arrest in the town of Ontario.
The charges against 26-year-old Marissa Bauer stem from a shoplifting incident at the Tops grocery store in the town of Ontario on February 28th for which she had been arrested for petit larceny and endangering the welfare of a child. It is alleged that Bauer had previous to that date been banned from all Tops stores due to a prior shoplifting incident. Due to the no-trespassing ban, Bauer was additionally charged with one count of burglary on Tuesday.
Following her arraignment in Ontario Town Court, Bauer was sent to the Wayne County Jail where she was already being held on unrelated charges.
