The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Town of Walworth Man following an investigation into a domestic incident in the Town of Walworth.
Deputies arrested Nickolas Yackiw, age 66, of Downs Road in the Town of Walworth for Harassment in the Second Degree. The charges stem from an investigation into a family trouble where it is alleged Yackiw placed his hands around the victim’s neck and shoved him against a wall. It is further alleged that Yackiw then swung at the victim with a closed fist, striking him in the face.
Yackiw was taken to the Wayne County Jail where he awaits CAP arraignment before the presiding Judge. Yackiw is to appear in the Town of Walworth Court at a later date and time for further court proceedings.
