A Victor man was ticketed following the investigation into a three-car accident at the intersection of Mertensia Road and State Route 96 in Farmington.
Anton Polotai is accused of disregarding a traffic light at the intersection and pulling into the path of a car driven by Patricia Panneitz, of Clifton Springs. The impact caused Panneitz’s car to collide with a vehicle driven by Callaway Spencer of Farmington. Police say Panneitz had the right of way at the intersection
Panneitz was taken to Clifton Springs Hospital by Victor Farmington EMS for treatment of head and neck pain. All three drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
Polotai was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way and will answer the charge in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
