Authorities in Ontario County have arrested a Victor man on charges of endangering the welfare of a child.
Sheriff’s deputies say 35-year-old Christopher Rushing was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon at his Church Street home following a months-long investigation. According to officials, Rushing engaged in behavior that harmed the mental and moral well-being of a child under the age of 17.
He was processed at the Ontario County Jail and is being held pending a court appearance.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
