On February 22, 2023, at 6:21 pm, the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Cory J. Smith, age 42, of Union Springs, on a warrant after failing to appear in court. Smith had previously been charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a class E felony, after stealing merchandise from Walmart in Seneca Falls in December of 2022 and failed to answer the charge in court. Smith was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility due to previous felony convictions.
