An Uber driver has been accused of sexually abusing a customer in the city of Ithaca.
The victim told police that after getting into an Uber-affiliated car on May 24th, the driver, Salah Eddeen Mikki, of Syracuse, drove to a nearby location and parked. The 33-year-old is then accused of getting into the backseat, pinning the victim down and forcibly touching them. The victim was able to escape and call for help after running away.
Mikki was arrested on a felony sexual abuse charge and was released on an appearance ticket.
