Two Wolcott men have been arrested on assault charges for an incident that happened earlier this month in Wayne County.
On February 13th, 35-year-old Steven Austin and 53-year-old Wayne Demay allegedly assaulted another person following a verbal altercation at a residence on West Main Street. Police say the victim had to be taken to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse for their injuries.
Both men were taken into custody on Wednesday and sent to the Wayne County Jail for arraignment.
