Two Ontario County men are facing drug charges following a traffic stop on State Route 332 in the town of Canandaigua early Friday morning.
During the stop, it was discovered by Sheriff’s Deputies that 35-year-old Jared Strub, of Clifton Springs, was allegedly in possession of cocaine and 36-year-old James Baker, of Canandaigua, was reportedly found to have Fentanyl in his possession. In addition, Strub was operating a motor vehicle with 11 suspensions on his license, leading to an additional charge of aggravated unlicensed operation.
Strub was taken to the Ontario County Jail for pre-arraignment, while Baker was released on an appearance ticket for Canandaigua Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
