Two Geneva residents were arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office on charges of grand larceny, conspiracy, and petit larceny.
The arrests of 38-year-old Rachel Woodhams-Vasquez and 36-year-old David Rojas entered a Waterloo business on September 17th and stole two chainsaws valued at $458. On September 18th, Rojas and Woodhams-Vasquez returned to the business with three other people and proceeded to steal two generators for a total value of $1,670.
Rojas was sent to Seneca County Jail due to prior felony convictions while Woodhams-Vasquez was issued appearance tickets for Waterloo Town Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
