One of the drivers involved in a two-car accident at the intersection of State Route 96 and Rowley Road in Victor Saturday afternoon was ticketed by police.
53-year-old Roberto Acosta-Hinojosa, of Canandaigua, is accused of rear-ending a 2009 Dodge Sedan driving by a Farmington man. During their investigation, deputies said they found Acosta-Hinojosa to have been driving drunk. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and brought to the Ontario County Jail where he submitted to a chemical analysis of his breath. Upon completion, Acosta-Hinojosa was charged with DWI with BAC greater than 0.08% and following too closely as a result of the crash.
Acosta-Hinojosa will answer the charges in Victor Town Court.
