The investigation into a domestic incident outside of a Geneva business resulted in the arrest of two Geneva residents.
32-year-old Beatriz Santiago-Diaz and 30-year-old Jonathan Maldonado are accused of intentionally causing physical injury to another person outside of Esther’s Son’s Restaurant and Bar on Sunday. Both were charged with assault.
Santiago-Diaz and Maldonado were released on an appearance ticket for Geneva City Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
