A Newark pair has been charged with unlawful possession of a handgun following an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
21-year-old Michael Soliday was pulled over for a traffic stop on August 26th. During their roadside investigation, deputies found an unregistered, loaded handgun under the driver’s seat. Neither Soliday, nor his passenger, 19-year-old Chyann Henningan possessed a pistol permit.
Both were arrested Thursday and sent to Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
