Police say they uncovered a large amount of drugs inside of a car during a traffic stop Sunday night in Ontario County.
41-year-old Yokohiro Vidalortiz, of Geneva, and 46-year-old Abdiel Velez-Sotomayor were arrested on three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. Velez-Sotomayor was also charged with two counts of tampering with physical evidence.
Both men were brought to the Ontario County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
