Two men have been arrested for stealing a 24-foot extension ladder from a residence in Waterloo.
It is alleged that after taking the ladder, 37-year-old Lucaus Kirby of Harrisville, New York, and 23-year-old Payton Gallup, brought it to the latter’s home to store on Brewer Road in Waterloo.
Gallup was charged with Petit Larceny, Conspiracy, and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. Kirby was charged with Petit Larceny and Conspiracy.
Gallup and Kirby were subsequently transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility where they were processed before being released on appearance tickets.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
