One of the drivers involved in a two-car accident on Cayuga Street in Seneca Falls.

According to Seneca Falls Police, 82-year-old Rolland Bentley made a left-hand turn from Prospect Street onto Cayuga Street and pulled into the path of a northbound car driven by 21-year-old Jenna McKay.  The impact of their collision caused Bentley’s vehicle to veer off the road and strike a Verizon pole.  Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and were towed from the scene.

McKay was checked over by EMS and refused further treatment. Bentley was transported to Geneva General Hospital for a complaint of chest pain and minor injuries to the face.

Bentley was issued a ticket for Failure to Yield the Right of Way.

The Seneca Falls Police Department was assisted on the scene by the Seneca Falls Fire Department, North Seneca Ambulance, and the Seneca Falls Water Department.
