An Ontario County woman was taken to Strong after her car was struck by a tractor-trailer that allegedly failed to stop at a red light.
The accident happened at around 2 Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of State Routes 5 and 20 and County Road 37 in West Bloomfield. Police say the driver of the tractor-trailer, a 31-year-old from Texas, was headed east on 5 & 20 when he blew through the light and was struck by a car driven by Cecile O’Brien of Honeoye. O’Brien suffered lacerations to her legs.
