A traffic stop in Cayuga County resulted in the arrest of a Throop man.
While on patrol, a deputy sheriff observed a driver fail to use a turn signal while making a right turn onto Route 38 in Throop. During a traffic stop, the deputy conducted an evaluation of the driver, Peter Henderson, was determined to be operating while under the influence of alcohol.
Henderson was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI first offense (Common Law) and failure to use a turn signal. Henderson was released to appear in Throop Town Court later this month.
