Three people, including a juvenile male, have been arrested for an alleged armed robbery that happened in the city of Ithaca.
23-year-old Tahajjuddin Abdur-Rashid, 21-year-old Kaeden Denmark, and the unidentified juvenile are accused of approaching the victim at around 2 Wednesday morning, displaying a handgun and stealing money. The victim told police he knew the suspects, who were arrested a short time later.
All three were charged with felony robbery.
Denmark and Abdur-Rashid were held in Tompkins County Jail pending future court dates while the juvenile was released to the custody of probation.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
