A trio who live in the village of Bath have each been charged with eight counts of animal neglect following an investigation by local police.
Police claim 36-year-old Joshua Fenstermacher, 36-year-old Ashlet Odonnell, and 24-year-old Eva-Rose Brush failed to give water, food, and veterinary care to eight dogs. Investigators say several of the dogs became deathly ill, with one eventually dying from lack of care.
Brush was also charged with failure to provide food and drink to an impounded animal after she allegedly abandoned a cat in a condemned apartment without proper food or water.
All three were released on appearance tickets following their arraignment at the Steuben County Jail.
