Auburn police have arrested three men following a home invasion robbery at the Auburn Heights Apartments.
Officers responded just after midnight Monday for a report of a robbery in progress. Investigators say three suspects entered an apartment and stole cash from the victim by force.
Two suspects were detained at the scene, while the third fled before officers arrived. He was later located and taken into custody.
Police identified the suspects as 35-year-old Michael Depew, 39-year-old Christopher Phillips, and 27-year-old Trentyn Jackson. All three were charged with second-degree robbery and second-degree burglary.
They were processed and taken to the Cayuga County Jail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
