Three Arrested for Stealing Car Parts in Wayne County

A suspicious car parked on the side of Fink Road in the town of Arcadia led to the arrest of three people by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

While at the scene investigating, deputies determined 37-year-old Travis Heyer, of Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania, 33-year-old Matthew Bell, of Waterloo, and 33-year-old Joseph Ruthven, of Clyde, were in the process of stealing car parts from a vacant home on Fink Road. All three suspects were located at the scene, including one who was found hiding under the hood of one of the cars. The trio was also charged with possession of burglars tools, criminal mischief, and attempted petit larceny with Ruthven also charged with obstructing governmental administration.

They were all released on appearance tickets for Arcadia Town Court.
