Three people were arrested during a traffic stop on State Route 332 in the town of Canandaigua.
While investigating a traffic stop, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office located controlled substances throughout the vehicle and placed all three in custody. 63-year-old Calvin White, Junior and 44-year-old Doreen Hamilton, both of Rochester, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and were released on appearance tickets.
The third suspect, 28-year-old Brittany Hollaert, also of Rochester, was taken to Ontario County Jail for arraignment because police said she has a history of failing to appear in court. While inside of the Ontario County Jail, Hollaert was allegedly found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Including the drugs found in the car, Hollaert was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and a single count of promoting prison contraband.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
