The investigation into a robbery that happened in the area of Geneva and Seneca streets in the city of Ithaca Tuesday resulted in the arrest of three people.
27-year-old Caitlin Albrecht was charged with felony robbery after she allegedly approached a woman just before 9 a.m. and demanded the victim give up a bag she was carrying. Albrecht then took the bag by force and fled on foot. A check of the area turned up the victim’s bag outside of an apartment building and Albrecht, who matched a description from the victim, was spotted on the apartment building’s surveillance camera.
After police went inside and took Albrecht into custody, they found two other people inside wanted on active warrants. Angelina Ward and Dustin White were both arrested on felony burglary charges with Ward being sent to jail following her arraignment.
At last word, Albrecht was awaiting arraignment.
