The investigation of a theft at the Seneca Falls Walmart resulted in the arrest of a 49-year-old Waterloo woman.
During the investigation, police determined Amy Sorrentino had been operating a motor vehicle while driving. Sorrentino was charged with DWI, DWI blood alcohol level of about .08%, and Felony DWI: previous conviction within 10 years and open container.
Sorrentino was released with an appearance ticket and will appear in the town of Seneca Falls Court on a later date to answer the charges.
