A Canandaigua man wanted in Ontario County on charges of aggravated criminal contempt, criminal contempt and violation of probation charges is back in local custody after being arrested in Georgetown, Texas.
The arrest of Jason Chrysler came after deputies successfully worked with the U.S. Marshals Service, New York Office Regional Task Force, and U.S. Marshal Service Texas Office.
The 44-year-old was transported by Ontario County Sheriff’s Deputies from Texas to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment on Wednesday morning. Chrysler is being held without bail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
