On Thursday, January 11th, 2024, at 7:54 am, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Erskine C. Putty, a 49-year-old resident of Cottentown, TN, in response to a complaint regarding an erratic driver on State Route 5. Putty was observed driving at a slow pace and veering into oncoming traffic. A traffic stop was initiated, revealing that Putty, the driver, was impaired by drugs. He was issued traffic tickets for failure to keep right and driving while ability impaired by drugs, first offense. Putty was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Seneca Falls Court at a later date to answer the charges.
