A Columbia County, New York teen was held at the Ontario County Jail following his weekend arrest in Victor.
18-year-old Eric Henry’s arrest stems from an investigation conducted by the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office where it is alleged he forcibly stole merchandise valued at $41.75 from the Tops grocery store in Canandaigua. Henry is also accused of using physical force against a Tops Asset Protection Manager in the incident.
In addition to robbery, Henry was charged with endangering the welfare of a child for knowingly employing a person under the age of 17 to drive his car to affect his flight in the immediate moments following his commission of the robbery offense.
Henry, who is from Hudson, was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await CAP arraignment
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
