A Syracuse woman was arrested by the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office this week on an arrest warrant.
The warrant stems from an alleged theft that occurred at a business in Junius in April of 2024 where Riggs was observed placing items under hef sweatshirt and leaving the store. According to the sheriff’s department, the busniess had also issued a Trespass notice to Riggs before this incident.
The 30-year-old was charged with burglary and petit larceny and was brought to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
