A Syracuse man will appear in Canandaigua City Court soon following his arrest on a charge of criminal sale of cannabis.
It is alleged that on July 3rd, Waleed Al Helali sold a product he knew contained cannabis to an individual who was under the age of 21. Al Helali was employed by the Finger Lakes Convenience Corp. located at 201 South Main Street in Canandaigua.
Following arraignment, Al Helali was released on an appearance ticket
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
