It is alleged that Amanda Smith, in violation of a duly served order of protection, entered and remained unlawfully in a residence in the town of Bath with the intent to commit a crime therein.
The burglary charge against Smith was a Class C Felony.
Following her arraignment, Smith was sent to Steuben County Jail in lieu of bail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
