A Steuben County woman was arrested over the weekend on a bench warrant issued out of Canandaigua Town Court.
24-year-old Sabrina Thompson, of Bath, is accused of failing to appear in court on falsifying business records charges. Thompson was arrested at the Steuben County Jail to visit an inmate when the warrant was discovered by jail deputies.
Thompson was transported to the Ontario County Jail where she remained in custody on pre-arraignment detention and was scheduled to appear in Ontario County CAP Court.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
