Steuben County Woman Accused of Stealing Thousands From Employer

A Hammondsport woman has been charged with felony grand larceny after she allegedly stole money from her employer.

It is alleged that Melissa Crane stole more than 7-THOUSAND dollars from her job at a retail establishment in the town of Urbana between July and September of last year.

Crane was released on an appearance ticket.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
