A traffic stop in the village of Bath Sunday night resulted in the arrest of a Cohocton woman.
Police pulled over a car driven by Bonnie Paige after she was seen committing numerous vehicle and traffic law violations on West Washington Street in the Steuben County village. It is alleged that the 53-year-old drove a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, crossing the double solid line multiple times, and possessed a quantity of a controlled substance at the time of her arrest. Paige was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Paige was released on an appearance ticket for Bath Village Court
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
