The investigation into the sale of fentanyl has resulted in the arrest of a Steuben County man.
According to the Corning Police Department, Sean Murray is a certified registered nurse and is facing felony charges involving the sale and possession of a controlled substance.
The 53-year-old Murray was charged with conspiracy, attempted criminal possession of a controlled substance, and two counts each of criminal sale and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Following his arraignment, Murray was released to appear in court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
