A Steuben County man is accused of possessing three stolen recreational vehicles valued at more than $50,000.
The vehicles were reported stolen from a location in Tonawanda and were allegedly being stored at a location in the town of Hornellsville. 52-year-old James Nelson, of Hornellsville, was arrested Thursday on a felony charge of criminal possession of stolen property.
Nelson was released from his arraignment.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in its investigation by the Canisteo Police Department and the Tonawanda Police Department.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
