A Stanley man faces charges in Yates County where police say he allegedly jumped onto the hood of a Deputy Sheriff’s patrol car and spit blood onto a deputy.
Brian Lindsay’s arrest stems from an investigation into a domestic that occurred at a Rubin Drive residence in Rushville Saturday night. Lindsay had allegedly been involved in a verbal argument with his girlfriend when he punched a bedroom door. He then struck his girlfriend in the face before she was able to leave the house and call for help from a neighbor’s house. When deputies arrived, Lindsay was fighting in the roadway.
After being brought to Yates County Jail, Lindsay attempted to leave while being processed and got into a fight with Corrections Officers.
Lindsay was awaiting arraignment on charges of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and three counts of harassment.
