A two-car accident in the town of Geneva Wednesday night resulted in one of the driver’s being ticketed.
Lisa Sharp, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, was traveling west on Routes 5 and 20 when she allegedly failed to stop for a red light at Tremont Road. Sharp hit a car that was turning left from Tremont onto Routes 5 and 20 driven by Daniel Ryan, of Mckees Rocks, Pennsylvania.
Sharp was taken to Geneva General Hospital for chest pains and a passenger in her car was also taken to the hospital for an ankle injury. Sharp was cited for running the red light and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
White Springs Fire and Finger Lakes Ambulance responded and assisted at the scene.
