The investigation into a domestic incident in the village of Sodus Monday night resulted in the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arresting a Sodus woman.
It is alleged that Gina Ortiz engaged in a physical altercation while close to a minor. She was charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child under the age of 17.
Ortiz was brought to Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
