A Sodus woman was arrested Monday afternoon after deputies say she stole merchandise from a Victor store.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old Jenny Primeaux was taken into custody at Target and charged with petit larceny. Deputies say Primeaux concealed several items of merchandise totaling $328.68 and then passed all points of sale without paying.
She was transported to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office substation, processed, and released on an appearance ticket.
Primeaux is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
