A hit-and-run accident that happened in the Walgreens parking lot in the town of Ontario Monday night resulted in the arrest of a Sodus Point man.
It is alleged that Mark Wilson was driving while in a state of intoxication and struck another vehicle in the parking lot and then proceeded to leave the scene. Wilson and his car were located in Sodus and placed under arrest. Wilson was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office where he refused to submit to a breath test to determine his blood alcohol content.
Wilson was transported to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
