A man from the Town of Sodus was arrested following a reported domestic incident in the same town.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested 36-year-old Cody Anderson after responding to a call on Halcus Road. Authorities allege Anderson was highly intoxicated and threatened his significant other and members of her family while in possession of a dangerous instrument.
Deputies also say Anderson became combative after they arrived at the scene.
Anderson was charged with menacing in the second degree, harassment in the second degree, and aggravated family offense.
He was taken to the Wayne County Jail and was scheduled to appear in CAP Court on Wednesday.
Anderson is expected to appear in Sodus Town Court at a later date for additional court proceedings.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
