Sodus Man Charged With Criminal Contempt

The investigation into a suspicious condition in the town of Sodus on Thursday resulted in the arrest of a Sodus man.

It is alleged that Timothy Race was in need of a licensed driver and was given the opportunity by Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies to contact one. Apparently, the person Race chose was the protected party of a Stay Way Order of Protection against him, which violated the order.

Race was charged with criminal contempt and was being held at the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
