The investigation into a domestic incident in the town of Sodus resulted in the arrest of a 23-year-old man.
It is alleged that Exavien Skilins brandished a pellet gun, that appeared to be a rifle while threatening the victim during a domestic altercation. It is further alleged that this incident occurred in front of a child.
Skilins, of Sodus, was charged with menacing and endangering the welfare of a child. He will appear in Sodus Town Court at a later date to answer the charges.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
