On Sunday, Timothy Jellerson was arrested by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office following a domestic incident on Maple Avenue in the Town of Sodus.
Deputies allege that the 72-year-old struck a victim in the chest and broke a chair during the dispute. The actions allegedly violated a “refrain from” order of protection that was in place at the time.
Jellerson was charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, Harassment in the Second Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. He was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and held for CAP court arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
