A trespassing complaint in the village of Newark early Wednesday morning led to the arrest of a town of Sodus man.
It is alleged that Shannon Jones trespassed onto private property and upon being told he was under arrest, attempted to pull away from deputies. Jones is also accused of urinating on the floor and spitting multiple times on doors, walls and floors at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office during his arrest processing.
Jones was charged with trespass, obstruction of governmental administration and criminal nuisance.
