The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Sodus man on multiple charges following an investigation into a domestic disturbance that resulted in injuries.
It is alleged that Kevin Woods subjected the victim to unwanted physical contact while obstructing their ability to seek emergency assistance. According to police, these alleged actions violated an existing Order of Protection issued for the victim’s safety.
The 61-year-old was charged with aggravated family offense, criminal contempt, criminal mischief, and harassment. Following his arraignment, Woods was kept in the Wayne County Jail.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
