A 19-year-old Sodus man was arrested Tuesday by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office following the investigation into an incident that occurred in the village.
Deputies responded to and investigated a domestic incident that led to the arrest of 19-year-old Jamar Ortiz.
Ortiz was charged with criminal contempt, obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
