The investigation into a domestic incident in Wayne County resulted in the arrest of a Sodus man on Friday morning.
It is alleged that Ryan Sauer violated an active Stay Away Order of Protection while at the same residence as the victim, as well as prevented the victim from calling 911. Sauer was charged with criminal contempt and criminal mischief.
Sauer was sent to the Wayne County Jail to await CAP arraignment.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
