A Sodus man was arrested over the weekend following the investigation into a domestic dispute.
It is alleged that 43-year-old John Peters, the Fourth, got into a verbal argument with a juvenile before it turned physical. Peters is accused of throwing a cell phone at the victim, striking him.
The victim was taken to Newark Wayne Community Hospital by Wayne County EMS for evaluation.
Peters was placed into custody and transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
